Much to our surprise and delight just hours before Christmas, we received word that our bid on 52 E. Sandusky was accepted. So although we were not able to celebrate Christmas in our new home our prayers were answered.

Christmas Eve I took great delight wrapping a four small boxes one inside the other. Deep inside the heart of the fourth box lay the tiniest treasure map with directions leading straight to the house and the tree swing our daughters loved. Fighting back the tears, I carefully placed the box beneath the tree. I stood back and admired the beauty of the small tree that I had scorned days before. I smiled and whispered, “God’s timing is good." "Martha couldn't have planned a more perfect Christmas."
